DCOM Scholarly Activity and Research Form: OMS III - IV
- Students planning to conduct any scholarly activity (e.g., laboratory research, clinical research, case studies, surveys, etc.) must meet with a mentor to discuss potential research projects before completing this form.
- All scholarly activity during clinical rotations should be conducted outside the designated 40 hours/week rotation schedule, except for a research elective rotation.
- It is the student's responsibility to complete the scholarly activity form
- Each student working on a study must complete their own individual form.
- Failure to submit this form may result in the denial of any research travel or publication funding.
Students must meet the following criteria to be eligible for research participation:
- Have completed at least one academic semester
- Not on Academic or Professional Probation
- Currently enrolled at DCOM (not on leave of absence)
